And here is finally this nonsense! I realized this would be a hard species ref since every individual is very unique, so I have decided to turn it into a template for people to create their own!
Gemdogs are a magical race of creatures that live on #Khrotellus. They are very rare in the wild, but this is a common form that a mage will learn to take.
Gem dogs in physical strength only made that of your average dog- but they shine as being excellent energy manipulators. These forms are used usually for travel or for hyper focusing spells and abilities. Not to mention, they can use their tails as a club, but this is a last resort, it can be fatal to badly damage the gem in it's tail.
A gemdog's eyes are always the same as their primary 'gem' in their tail. this will also be the same gem merged into the chest of a mage [this allows them to take on this other form].
Gemdogs are intelligent, and the mage keeps their mind within the body of this form. Wild gemdogs are said to match their wit and can speak.

You cannot make adoptables of these
Anyone can make a character, whether it be a form of a mage, or a wild gemdog. Wild Gemdogs are rare, but I am still not placing a limit on them.

Colors are restricted to that of ores, gemstones and crystals- or any natural/magical element.
How to use this sheet:
Info box:
Name: Your Gemdog's name
Age: Their age, they can be up to a few hundred years old.
Gender: Their gender. Hermaphroditic creatures are common on Khrotellus.
Gem: The type of stone, ore or mineral that is in their tail
Elemental Class: What basic 'element' category do they fall in? [For example, Ice would fall in the 'water' elemental class'] If you don't know which they would go in, just guess. You can pick ONLY ONE please. If you have a mage, this will be the same type of magic that they specify in.
The available classes are: Fire, Earth, Air, Water, Life, Light, Darkness, Mind
Origin: Where they are from
Personality: Keywords explaining their personality
